Default FZ35 with LC-55 macro comparisions

The LC-55 definitely out performs the camera alone from my personal observations there was only one flower (Daisy) that the camera seemed to do a better job...I thought the camera alone on AF Macro was also equal on the Purple Flowers, but the LC-55 actually did better...

These are really great pictures - but which one were now taken with the macro lens and which one without?

And some technical questions:

tripod used?
spot focus?

Thanks for your help and effort

Thanks for the kind words everyone...

All of these were taken with the LC-55, Spot Focus, Spot Metering unless the pic washed out on darker subjects then I would switch to Center Weighted Metering...Camera on "A" Aperture priority as the sun was still playing Peek-A-Boo under storm warnings...and the wind was gusting as always in North Texas!!

Clint wait until you have seen the FZ35 in AF Macro mode first as I was impressed with those shots also, just I got many more keepers with the LC-55 and much better bokeh with the LC-55...

Yes order from Amazon and pay a few extra bucks and that'll insure you can return it within 30 days...they just refunded me the Sony HX5 after I had used it for three weeks...
I think you could do some real damage with the LC-55 Clint where you live at...It does allow you to Macro from 4 ft away as it was designed to be used while you are walking and you can Macro something at ground level, but it doesn't give as good of a Bokeh that way...it would be fun to see what you come up with anyway...

I think that's what I'll do. I've always had good service from Amazon.
