Default Fooling around with the FZ35

Seems I've been spending more time lately worrying about what camera(s) may be best for me and less time taking pictures and learning what my camera(s) are capable of.

I took advantage of a beautiful day yesterday to take a short drive and play with the FZ35. Here are some of the pics, including my first try using the panarama assist (the picture isn't great, but I can see where this feature can be very useful and I plan to work with it some in the future).

Thank you very much, Sarah. The second picture was taken with a polarizer. I don't have a lot of experience with it and I was comparing the ant-reflective effect on the water to a picture taken without one.

Unfortunately, once again the pictures came out softer when I posted them because they were compressed when they were uploaded. I should have posted them to Flickr and linked to them.

Love the one of the girls in front of the spray - very creative and an interesting shot.

Definitely have to throw in my vote for the girls in the spray. It has that captured-right-at-the-moment quality that makes taking still pictures worth it!

Forgive my gushing, but I have to say again how great that shot is. The contact between the girls, they are just in a special moment, and you can almost feel the spray on your face looking at the photo. This is REAL photography - you and the camera aced this one Jazzman!!! :-)

I have to up the ante and say they are all fabulous shots each one with it's respective message/meaning: Beauty, Awe Inspiring, Caught in a Moment of True Peace and Wonder, and the final photo is Transcending...love them all Jazz, they are awesome...can't wait to get into Colorado in July the Good Lord willing...

Thanks so much to all of you for your very kind comments!

LTZ, where are you planning to go in Colorado? I'm planning a trip to that area (actually the four corners region, including Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Arizona) at the end of the Summer.
