That is very good stage lighting letting you take shots at 400 and 800iso. The panny's are very good cameras.

ok, thanks

this is not my first compact camera, I'd just like to have an idea of the indoor performances of the zr1...I'don't expect a perfect quality of course, but I'd just like to know if it's usable at 800/1600 iso or if it's better to choose a fuji...

800iso should be fine with most point and shoots, but only a couple really perform at 1600iso, that would be the panasonic lx3, and canon's s90 and G11.
