Default Just bought a new fz38

Hi to everyone
I have Just joined this forum and I am hoping to pick up some tips and tricks on using fz38, I own a Dslr and 2 panasonic fz5s.
I rarely use the Dslr as I find it too heavy and cumbersome to carry, combined with hassle of changing lenses.
I love the compact size low weight and long zoom of the fz5 and fz38 which can easily carried in a waist belt, the reason I bought a fz38 is that the fz5s one major fault is high noise levels even at low iso, its 5 megapixel resolution does not bother me.

HT-

Welcome to the Forum and to the Panasonic P+S folder. We're pleased that you dropped by.

Congratulations on your new FZ-38. It is a very good camera and I am sure that you will enjoy it. Please make yourself comfortable here, there are indeed lots of photo tips and photo sample to enjoy and learn from as you read through them.

You are fortunate to be an FZ-5 user, so that give you an advantage as you begin shooting. Enjoy your new camera and don't hesitate to ask if we can assist you.

Thanks for your welcome Sarah
I'm sure I will find lots of technical tips on how to use the fz-38 on this forum, I wish panasonic had provided a full printed manual with this camera, its a pain to have to keep referring to the manual on the pc screen.
My fz-5 seems very simple to use in comparison to the fz-38
