E-

Thanks for posting. Your photos all look very good indeed. What Clint was advising is to get closer to the spider so that the spider's image in larger in your finished photo. Please understand that this is summertime in the Northern Hemisphere and may people will be coming and going on holidays or even off on a business trip. So responses to a post are not always rapid. I my self was gone for several days.

Thanks everyone for the replies. The spider was outside my kitchen window with a wide bench between he and me so i couldn't get closer. Ufortunately he is gone now. the photo was of his underbelly and i have no idea what variety he was.
Tullio, being new to photography i am still lost on exposure, f-stops etc, just cannot seem to take it in. Luckily, being a full time artist i am not too bad on composition.
Mindymouse, i love those flowers, no idea what they are called but the bees sure do love them. i will try for a better closeup if i can.
Thanks koolpic, i was pleased i got depth of field - finally, lol.
Tullio, i reduced the size as didn't want to take up too much space and knew there would be size limit. Clint did tell me but i forgot so i was playing safe i guess.
Thanks Sarah, all the photos were taken in my own garden so limited to flowers really, and a bee, not been out yet. Hope to learn much more too as i would love to take photos like those on this forum. still learning and will keep at it.
Again thanks for all the replies as they are all great to read and learn from.
E.
