Yes indeed FZ 35. AF zoomed in and spot focus, multi metering.

AF? lovely shots and so clear too but what is that in non tech talk? how does a newbie do it?

Auto focus? really, lol. thanks no-ice. i need to learn techno speak for photography, well the short terms letters anyway.

I mentioned Autofocus / AF to differentiate from the other possible settings Macro Af ; Zoom AF and manual focus / MF.

I was about 8 - 10 feet away and just zoomed in enough to make the background blurred and keep the subject in focus (with spot focus).
I guess with kids or other quick moving objects face detection or AF Tracking would also work well for good focus.
Keep the Shutter to around 160 - 500.
