Default fz38, storing settings

Is there a way to store settings, in order to bring them back AFTER A FULL RESET, (for the pan. fz35/38) ?
Thanks for any answer!

I don't think so. Not sure if the Custom 1-2-3 settings would be retained. It would be nice if there was a menu item that allowed you to print out or save your current settings to a file on the PC (connecting through the USB) but I am not aware of any.

It would be really cool (and simple to develop) to allow a backup to be stored in the camera's internal memory.

By the way, reseting the camera I can see 2 different steps:
1. reset rec. settings, and
2. reset setup parameters.
Can anybody say what they mean?
