Very good work, indeed!
But I have the same question:
Is this just your simple photo out of your simple camera, or are you equiped with several other gadget, and then a lot is done with photoshop? Either way, I donot decrease your work, I do a lot of work with software on the computer, but I just cant say that 'my camera took an excellent photograph'...
I would like to know other people's opinion.

About the only post processing I use is in Picasa - sometimes I use the "Fill Light" button and sometimes the "I'm Feeling Lucky" button (a one click fix for lighting and color). It all depends. The one with the green insect on the red rose I used the fill light button because it was a bit dark. I'd say it's about 50% I'd tweak the photo a bit usually just making it a bit lighter or darker.

Good work, Clint! The rose (without any bugs) and the last shot of dragonfly are my favs. Do you apply noise reduction?

One day, I will have a steady hand, enough so that I can settle down in macro mode and take a straightforward picture of a bug. But that will also be the same day that I will be declared legally brain-dead because a of lack of caffeine in my system.

Good shooting, Clint! As to whether the FZ100 will take better bug photos.... *French-like insouciant shrug*

I'm really surprised they came out as good as they did - I had just finished moving large rocks and I was sweaty and tired. I was really shaky on some of them. The stability feature really works well. Next time I will try to remember my mono pod.

I missed the link on the FZ100 before it was removed so haven't seen anything official, but as an FZ50 owner, it'll be interesting to see if the FZ100 is a real improvement or if the supposed 15MP sensor ruins any mechanical improvements due to too much pixel-cramming for the size sensor it utilizes. If the new model has all the amenities of the prior models (dedicated hot shoe, mechanical zoom ring, dual control dials, etc) it will be better handling than any other current digicam offering Panny has below the G series.
