Default Charging Battery? (ZS6)

Does this camera (ZS6) really require the battery to be physically removed every time it needs to be charged?

Or is their "DC coupler" a battery too?

Or is there something else I'm missing?

sanchius-

Welcome to the Forum. We're pleased that you dropped by.

The battery of the ZS6 is designed to be charged when it is outside of the camera. There is no accessory that I know of that would allow the battery to be charged while physically inside the camera. As you can see, that makes a good reason to have a spare battery.
