I just started a topic here, in which I, and by the looks, others as well, can decide for themselves which lens to get: http://forums.steves-digicams.com/ad...0-another.html

Can you please post your experiences with the LC-55 add-on lens over there, so we can compare the DCR-250 and the LC-55 a bit more, apart from the LC-55 being more expensive?

Thanks in advance, and as I said before, I love the shots

Having been inspired by LTZ470, I've been using the LC-55 for a while. I like it. I also leave on the UV filter on the FZ35 all the time. The LC-55 with the extension tube fits over it with no problem.

Those should be banned for being too scary.

What were your setting as they are well focused and detailed? Or did you use a macro lens?

You can expect to receive some praise when you post pictures
like that. Great job! I wish that the EXIF was intact so that
aspiring macro photographers like myself could learn from
it.

I don't know what to praise you on more, the great picture, or being brave enough to get that close.

I'm also interested in the information how these got shot, and maybe LT had a monopod on wheels and a remote wire, and took the shots that way :P
