Default Ordered the FZ35

Thanks, everyone, for all your input to my earlier question.
I went ahead and ordered the FZ35. It won't solve everything - I'll still use the Canon dSLR for low light and the SD770is when I don't want to carry anything. But, I think it will give me the best quality for those times I don't want to or can't lug around the dSLR. And it will yield much better images for my wife than the pocket 770.

Will be sure to post pics once I've played with it a bit.

Thanks, again!

Congratulations on the new purchase, graubart!

Your wife will definitely enjoy using the camera, if how my wife's reaction to using the FZ35 is any indication. Fuss-free enough to satisfy her avid 'point-and-snap' style, but advanced enough that you get results approachable to at least a lower-to-medium-end dSLR. Can't ask for much more than that, especially at the price!
