Looks like we went to the same places. My wife and I visited the site in Feb of 2009. A beautiful day but COLD! We went to Cripple Creek and happened to to see the ice sculpting festival. (Before I got the FZ35).

Somehow we always get out to Colorado in the winter.

Not many flowers or bugs to shoot.

Yes it is a shame we weren't up there at the same time so we could get together over a cup o' joe...we always go up in July or August for 10 days to 2 weeks...
