Default DMC-FZ35 vs. DMC-ZS7 (outdoor / iA-mode)

Which one produced the better shots?

I think the FZ35 shots looked better.

Agree with Clint in all instances. The first 2 samples exhibit the better dynamic range, colour rendition and exposure accuracy of the FZ35.

The bridge comparison is rather pointless however, due to the completely different parameters used as a result of the different zoom/focal lengths chosen. About all the FZ35 bridge shot tells us, is that either the photographer had very unsteady hands, as the camera has chosen a quite ridiculous ISO 500 to achieve 1/320 sec shutter speed, of a static subject, or the iA mode is atypically being cantankerous.

I will put in my agreement as well. The FZ-35 did a better job. And what really differs on these two cameras is that with the FZ-35 you have a nice EVF. On the ZS7 you are fighting a highly reflective LCD in bright sunshine. That is not my cup of tea at all.

I also think the FZ35 looks better, the colors seem to be better, and the shadows of the FZ7 look darker I have to say.

Oh and, the FZ7 has an extra car on the 'yard' pic

Blame it on the 25mm lens vs. the 27mm lens. :-)
