Keep your eye on B&H. I am sure that some will come up as trade in's for ZS7's...

greg,

I do not buy used camera, I know what I put my gear through. So on camera's I only by new. Lenses are a different story, that I do by used. You would not want any used gear I have had. They are have seen a huge work load. My canon 500D is just over a year old, and has now seen over 40,000 shots. I really use my gear allot.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy Used from Amazon or B&H as their return policies are excellent and their rating system for used cameras is very biased to the buyer if it is rated 9 or above at B&H it has basically been boxed back up and sent back as a NIB return same goes for Amazon if it says very good it will be like new...

I have purchased 3 Used FZ35's from Amazon Warehouse Deals all like NEW...I have purchased one off B&H and it is like new...one even stll had three pictures in the memory...all of them like new the last one I gave $220 for a like new FZ35! The box was the only thing that was really damaged...

But with DSLR's I would be a little hesitant, but with a 30 day return policy attached you really can't lose, if you save a $100 or so...

You are being generous! I say ISO 400 is pretty much the limit for most (if not all) P&S. Any camera with a sensor greater than 1/1.8" will produce a lot of noise at ISO 800. Those with a 1/1.8" or smaller sensors will manage ISO 800 a bit better.
