Default What's the best macro/close-up lense for the FZ35?

The Raynox DCR-250 or Panasonics own LC-55? I've been combing the internet for an answer but nobody seems to have one I guess the definition of 'best' would vary, but which lense is best for who/what? Or are they the same? Ahh! Any help, pictures, links would be much appreciated Thank you

canon 500D macro lens with a step down ring. But it is more expensive the most other setups.

Brownie - use the "search this forum" tool using Raynox DCR-250 or LC-55 and you'll get lots of comparisons and info.

Other than the three mentioned here, I don't know of anymore.

The canon one is the best of the lot. But I am not sure if the smaller sensor of the FZ can really take advantage of the higher grade lens.

in terms of ease of use:

1. Lc-55
2. Raynox 250
3. Canon 500 - because you need the hardware to mount it.

Thanks for the help guys I've decided on the Raynox 250, possibly along with the Sigma Achromatic as it's cheap and seemingly has a better DOF than the 250. So I can do fiddly, but amazing super macro and easier 'not so super' macro. In theory...

These will give you an idea at the limitations of the FZ35 & LC-55 combo...

I used the FZ35/LC55 combo for this video. I like the LC55 a lot.
