Mine came in from B&H yesterday.
Ordered it on Wednesday morning and had it on Thursday. Don't know what's going on with that but I'm sure not complaining.
Didn't get much of a chance to try it out last night but the weekend is coming.

Maryland is closer to NY than GA.
Mine should be here his afternoon.
Eager to see and share results.

Living closer to NY sometimes has advantages.
I only got to try it for about an hour last night. They send it with an uncharged battery so had to wait an hour or so before I could even use it.

Planning on giving it a really good tryout this weekend.

Now if I could just find somewhere that sold spare batteries for it........

Extra batteries would be excellent - especially "unchipped" ones.

But I'd even settle for an "official" Panasonic battery.

Richie,

We plan to leave on the 29th but may be delayed as much as a week due to some stuff going on here at home. I'm retired so I can leave almost anytime. It's not set in concrete.

Have you been to Yellowstone or Teton before? You will have some amazing photo opportunities.

Jack

Default Moon Pic

Scooby,
That is a really nice moon pic. Very sharp and detailed and well exposed. I just got my FZ100 yesterday from BH also. What settings did you use for the moon pic if you dont mind me asking?

Scooby - have you taken any photos indoors with lower light?

What film mode do you use and at what settings?

I'm finding anything over 200 ISO really gets a lot of noise.
