Default FZ100 Mode 1 Mode 2

In the FZ35 you can select Mode 1 and Mode 2 in the "quick menu".
In the FZ100 I do not see that available in the quick menu.

I can set a custom menu for it.

I've only taken a few pictures - cloudy and a bit rainy here.

I like the zoom and the flip out LCD.

Still trying to figure out settings and difference in menus - kind of like going from XP to Windows 7.

Clint,....I'm just curious,..do you change from mode 1 to mode 2 under specific conditions, such as long EZ zoom? I usually leave mine set on mode 1 but I'm always interested in another suggestion.

When I use the monopod I use Mode 2 (isn't that the one that stabilizes the image at shutter release?) I use it in Zooms and macros.
