The cat looks like he may have eaten a few mockingbirds.

I was about to say something similar to that. Did you turn the LCD screen for the cat to show the pictures of the mockingbird? The cat has that glazed over expression that they get when cats watch Food Netwo... I mean, Animal Planet.

Thats Ginger and she is a hunter...always trying to catch the birds...she would rather be outside than inside...hunts all night...

Not scared of anything at all...attacks the Blue Heeler every chance she gets...

Very nice...you're definitely getting more and more out of your FZ100. What s/w do you use to process your images?

Tulio I might be camera geek but definitely a simple minded geek...lol...

I use Windows Photo gallery in Wondows 7...
For FZ100:
Go to Adjust Details: Analyze (NR) it usually overly compensates so I adjust the slider back to counter...
Sharpen 2-3 clicks depending on details and subject...
Shadows lighten or darken dependant upon subject and bokeh...

Thats it I don't spend a lot of time in PP...lol...

Thanks for the props on the FZ100...it's fun investigating the in/outs...as long as it is getting better and not worse...

FZ100 is like the HS10 definitely a challenge...I think if they would have used a larger CMOS sensor it would have helped both cameras...it looks like to me the software in both cameras has a difficult time resolving the IQ...which makes them inconsistent especially with drastic/high contrast subject or composition changes...does that make sense?...lol..I think I'm having a resolving issues my ownself...
