Are we critiquing the shots or the camera?

If it's the shots then there is something in the way of the main subject on every one of this which is distracting and takes away from the interest. Also framing, everything is slap bang in the middle. Both of these things can be easily fixed next time out.

LOL, I was surprised at the composition as it wasn't what I expected to see from you

Getting back to the question you want answered, the lens looks like it's sharp, the noise looks like a pretty painful factor at ISO 100 and 160 which is a shame.

OK, so if the noise is "painful" , what can be done about that?

And LTZ470, what do you think about the IQ?

Some good noise reduction software will help and also just being aware of it to ensure good exposure so you don't need to try to pull back the shadows and increase noise.

Can you suggest software that you think is good and is also user-friendly?

I use noiseware pro, but any of the packages are pretty good. Some editing software has noise reduction options too but generally they are not as good as the specific software packages.... well apart from CS5 but then you are paying lots.

Also look at neat image and noise ninja.
