1st message

First image kinda blured.
Second image is good.
Third image, at the left of the picture i sense some sunlight which is absent in other pictures. I think they all don't have same light conditions.

2nd message

All are overexposed i guess. Except third one.

These are a newbie comments.

All taken at same time with Spot Metering and focused on the Speed Limit sign between the 2 & 5...the FZ100 is all about metering...if they can get the metering figured out it should be a good camera...

Good post,.....knowing what I know about the specs on each of the cameras, and being the owner of an FZ35, I'd choose the FZ100. These pictures are fine and the things not shown, burst, full HD, better LCD etc would be worth the extra bucks to me. On your posted pictures, I have never seen anything wrong with IQ on the FZ100.

I normally don't comment on specifics in pictures but in the series that shows the building with the little tree in mid range, it looks like Big Fuzzy focused on the tree and the others focused on the building. That is an impression, not an expert opinion.

I'm anxious to see more. Panasonic should send you a commission check. After all your tests are completed, I'd be interested in which camera you would purchase if you could have only one camera.

at these low ISO's at least, the image quality difference between the FZ35 and the FZ40 is nearly identical, which is a good thing really, given the fz35 did well for a bridge and the fz40 gives you a longer focal length range for convenience. the fz100 is pretty similar too, besides the metering.
