That may be the problem

Try this

Plug in the camera to the PC but don't try to download anything.

Go to Windows Explorer and find the camera - probably says removable disk -

Look for these directories on the camera


Look in the Private Directory - that's where the video is stored
then AVCHD
then BDMV

look in the Stream directory and you should see a numbered file ending in MTS

that's the video - I use VLC media player - that;s whay it says VLC media file (yours may be different)

double click the MTS file and see if it plays on the computer.

If it does just you can then at least copy it to the PC.

The manual states you should be using a class 6 card so that may be the problem but I'm not sure.

Yes I can watch it there...So now what?

Yes but how come I have to do that way.I only wish that it would download like my other pictures..

Have you used the PHOTOfunSTUDIO software that came with your camera?

When you plug in the USB to the camera which program is trying to download the video and the pictures?
