OK - it's trying to play the video - not import them to the PC

Read this

then download this

Hopefully you will then see another item in the menu - import pictures and videos using Windows XP.

Another solution is to download the latest PhotoFunStudio here

I agree with Clint, I never transfer files from cameras via usb, it's a lot easier to use a card reader or a pc with built in card reader.

All I had on the card was video.
But when I have pictures it uses a different program it just won't download the video thats on the card at that time...

If you use Windows to import pictures and videos - it should copy both over to your PC.

But you'll need the menu item like I posted earlier.

chuckpp, I think you will be doing yourself a big favor and saving a lot of hassle by getting a card reader for the sd cards.

If you are having trouble with playing video from Panasonic camera (or any other newer camera that produces Hd videos) , download splayer.
I couldnt find a file format which it couldnt read , its faster than any other video program , and it also automaticly downloads subtitles for any movie title it recognises.

as for transfer method - first Ive used usb cable , then I found out that using card reader it much easier way (well , forum people told me so ) . Since almost every laptop has card readers in itself , it is really handy.
