Exactly the question I had in my head. Anything not moving will create sharp results and I can't see anything in these that would suggest they are not sharp. What were your reasons behind tripod yielding sharper results?

Default comparo with ev set to 0 on both

In these latter PIXes, besides different metering, it's almost as if the FZ100 has a more sensitive CCD, but uses (requires because of more megapixels?) greater NR.
