Default First Few FZ40 Shots

Small peeper frog about an inch long. He was in a shady ditch so I had to use the flash, Pictures are SOOC.

Clint, it looks like you have a new toy and know how to use it! Great shots!

Thanks Jack - I'm finding out I can't hold a 1/50 second at 24x zoom.

Yeah - I could handhold the FZ35 at 18x at 1/50 second but not a 24x (gets a little more sensitive at the big zoom - even had it propped on the window sill.)

What did you end up with on the Picture Adjustment settings for FZ40?

Nice shot.

Given those lateral folds running down the back from the eye, I'd almost say its a baby green frog.

Here is a real nice supplemental frog ID poster I used at work to show our park visitors.

You may be right.
I was trying to ID him but no "exact" match - I went here

I thought he might be a peeper or chorus frog but not sure.

Kudos for that comment Sarah I really like Clint's nature photos, he's in a awsome place to get some much interesting photos and is doing our native species of animals a lot of justice bringing out their highlights.

I second that and also your welcome LT.
