Great shot LTZ!
I posted some as well but without any lens attachments, so don't look that detailed.

Are you using any special settings? Mine comes out way too bright.

I'm guessing low aperture, low iso, tripod and did you use any digital zoom?

LTZ,
I saw the blue halo in your image as well.
It's on the top of Moon in small area.
I don't believe it's Moon's color.

Jyaku,
LTZ has given some advice here: http://forums.steves-digicams.com/pa...oon-shots.html
I used 8ez mode with digital zoom.
I took some shots and the best results in shutter mode were at 1/200 and 1/250 with exposure -2.

Yes in PP when I lighten up the Shadows it creates a blue fringe/halo, etc...The FZ100 does this something to with WB...it plays on blues heavily where the FZ35 plays on green/yellow heavily in these types of shots......

The digital zoom will never give you a clean sharp shot so don't use it...use a tripod or something stationary beside your hands...and use the 3 shot 10 sec delay...f/5.2...Spot Focus...Spot Metering...

Default Used PSP 9

Great shot and I used PSP 9 which does very nicely with chromatic abberation color fringing.

Question: so you're using the TC-E17ED, which is a nikon tele converter, on the panasonic? Do you need any adapters for this? And in the same way, if you use the adapter, can you use pretty much any tele converter around, as long as its the proper size? Are they all compatible?
Thanks!

I think LTZ uses Onlympus TCON1.7.
There are adapters to use that such as DMW-LA5.
Some may need step -down -up ring adapters as well.
