Default FZ35 46mm or 58mm Tele/Wide Lens?

Hi to everybody,

Please forgive me as I will be asking a noobie question. I have a FZ35 and am planning to purchase a Tele Conversion lens and/or wide angle lens. I am at a loss as what to get. Should I get a 46mm Tele lens (and wide angle lens) and attach it directly to the camera or should I get a 58mm Tele Conversion lens and/or wide angle lens and use a lens adapter with it? Thanks in advance.

You're welcome - I'm not familiar with any teleconverter that attaches directly to the lens of the FZ35. All I'm familiar with needs the extension tube adapter. I don't think the "zoom motor" is designed to carry the extra weight.

As I am a newbie and a poor one at that, I have seen the cheap ones on ebay that has 46mm thread that you can attach directly to the camera. They have wide angle and zoom lens that has a 46mm thread

I asked the same question (46mm) before and the replies were not to use 46mm tele at all.
The built in motor may not handle additional weight properly and may fail.
It's safer to get the adapter tube and then add tele lenses as it is made for that purpose.
