Default First fz45 sunset shots

These are the first shots I've taken with my FZ45, unfortunately before I found out on here about sunset mode so they're just point and click on IA, and hand held. Comments and tips welcome The first 3 have been very slightly altered in Picasa - the colours were slightly greenish - but I didn't do much to them as still working out what all the sliders do.

Will try sunset mode hopefully this weekend, assuming the weather holds up!

I like number 3 & 7 the best.
I'd suggest using the 16x9 format on the horizon shots.

Probably best to post the photos here (you can embed them) rather than pointing people to an external site. Generally you will get more comments that way

Ah ok sorry. Posted below (I hope - I think I might have resized them too much). As I'm fairly new to this, do let me know if you think they're terrible. I was mostly trying to capture the colours, but the composition could probably be much better. Thanks for the tip on the 16:9 mode - never thought about that.

Those shots are very nice. I like the way you included the birds in #6.
