Default fz38 - eye piece

Is there any eye-piece gadget that fits on fz38? In bright sun light I can not see through the eye piece or the lcd screen...

I did cut down an iPod touch anti glare screen protector to go on my fz38 as I couldn't find one available off the shelf.

Some people have cut thick felt and placed it around the eyepiece(EVF).

Thanks Clint! What if I take a rubber eyepiece from another camera and 'glue' it on the fz35...? I dont like much those "glue" and "adjust" and improvisation things...alexander

I haven't had much luck finding an exact fit. One person I read used a rubber eye cup from a telescope. But I couldn't find the specifics.
You'd think out of all the cameras available you could find one.

The only thing to be careful of would be not to cover the "focus" wheel for the EVF.

I wonder how foam weather stripping might work. It about the right thickness with a adhesive backing.

Thats another plus for the FZ40 and FZ100 the EVF extends out from the camera about 1/4" further than the FZ35 making it easier to use...at least for me...

But you can check these 'fixes" out:

Nice links, LTZ...
I am thinking though of getting almost any (decent and nice shaped) eyepiece and find a (neat) way to (glue) attach it on the fz38...
I have an old canon AE-1 P, the eyepiece looks good...!
Any suggestions???!
