Default battery replacements

heard that some people are having problems getting extra batteries for their cameras due to panasonics chipped batteries. thinking of getting the ZS7 or possibly the FZ100 but nervous about not having access to buying extra batteries. panasonics are not sold in many retailers by me.

Batteries will become readily available with time. They last a long time and you shouldnt need more than two. The big deal is to make sure that you get a camera that you like and can live with.

When I bought my FZ35 a few months ago they threw in an extra battery but it wasn't original Panasonic. It seems to last quite well.
