Thanks idenny, yes it was with my FZ35. I don't think I was even in the Sunset Mode.

Thank you everyone for the kind words. I'm pretty sure my settings were: P mode, ISO 100, Exposure -1. I set it to center-weighed metering and keep pointing to different parts of the sky until I get the colors I like. Then I freeze it (shutter halfway) and compose the shot.
