Default FZ35 flowers (and a few other things!)

Finally got the chance to take my camera away and still gravitated towards flowers! I like the colours it reproduces. C and C gratefully received. All OOC, no PP (except for the wine country shot which has a tiny bit of extra sat using Picnik). Thanks to Sarah, most P shots are done with spot focus and metering and pict adj as suggested.

Hope you like them. Hope they show I am learning!

Great shots - for my taste, I'd "brighten" up the first few. They seem just a bit under exposed to my eyes.

Here's what the I'm Feeling Lucky" button can do in Picasa

I love the look on the cat - he must see the bird in the picture above him.

Thank you Clint. I have just been trying out the 'one click wonder' and it makes a real difference. I used to use it all the time but got a bit hooked on Picnik when viewing in web albums. Here's another of the gorgeous cat.

That cat shot is great - looks like he's thinking "I bet it's going to taste like chicken!!"

Beautiful photos you can be proud of. I would have liked the bird uncut. Your cat sure is cute and adorable. You have close up and long shot, so now you know the capabilities of the camera. It is for you to explore further and enjoy. All the best!

azam - these are very beautiful shots! Very nicely composed. Some are slightly underexposed, but that's easy to fix. You have a beautiful chinchilla cat!
