LTZ - I don't know...the Canon may have slightly more natural colors, but the clarify and the depth of the FZ is just amazing. Some shots look almost 3D!

Great shots, the patterns on the zebras are really beautiful!

You have a great eye Saly...I don't know how to fix the contrast problem on the Canon...had the IContrast on and some of the ISO's were low except for one ISO400...Canon has always had great Saturation/Colors...still scratching my head...I even went back and went over the settings on both cameras...tried different metering modes? I am thinking I should have used the Auto Bracketing on the Canon and see if it could control the lighting/metering a bit better at -1/3 to -2/3?

Me and the SX30 just wasn't meant to be...lol...sending it back today...

I set both cameras to take the best possible shot for the best IQ...

Canon SX30:
AV Mode
ISO Max 400 most at ISO100/160
f/5.8
IS Continuous
Custom Color Mode
Sharp +2
Contrast +1 and I tried 0
Sat 0
IContrast On
Servo AF
99% w/ Centerweighted metering one or two with Spot

FZ100:
AV Mode
ISO Limited at 200
f/5
OIS Mode 1 (5 Shot Burst) and Auto when out of Burst Mode
Dynamic Mode
Sharp +2
Contrast +1
Sat +1
NR -2
99% Centerweighted metering one or two with Spot

increased saturation and contrast shots on canon were not as good ?

however, CA looks kinda strong on zebras !

I just noticed that the giraffe in the FZ shot appears to have a spider web across his horns. That's really funny...!
