Default Goodbye Friend

Hi all
It's taken some time for me to post this as it's still near to my heart. His daughters were holding his picture in their hands...
This is my friend Doug who was taken away from his family and friends through a violent act.
I will always remember Doug as a witty , caring and thoughtful person who cared about his family and friends.
I'll miss you Doug.

Sorry to learn about your loss, Wagaboo. On the photo, your friend looks just like how you have described him. My condolences to you and his family.

I'm sorry about loosing your friend. It's even harder when it makes no sense.
It's certainly sad to loose friends. The older I get the more I realize we only have a short time on this planet.

Teach us to realize how short our lives are. Then our hearts will become wise.
Psalm 90:12

I didn't know your friend, but I instinctively know he would also have been a friend of mine. I'm very sorry for your loss.

Sorry to hear about that tragic story - you did a brilliant job of honoring him with that photo.
