Default FZ40 - Clouds over Brisbane

I really liked the way the clouds were formed over our city yesterday so I hopped off my bus on the way home. I'm gradually getting used to using this thing.

Those are excellent. The only thing I did not care too much for was the tilted image only because I think you tilted it a bit too much. Did you do any HDR processing? The building look incredibly well exposed considering how much sky above there is. Great job!

Thanks for the comments.

Tullio, I agree it was tilted too far - I was just trying to catch the areas that were not shaded. The result is a bit too weird!

No HDR - just taken about 30 minutes before sunset with direct front lighting on the city. I guess the river helps to reflect more light onto the buildings. I used spot metering and fixed it off a point fairly high in the sky.

Nice shots Mick, well done. Colour saturation & contrast seem spot on.
