Thanks Saly, still finding out how to use my camera and still looking for the contrast, sharpness, saturation, noise etc. the mauel is so confussing, i hate it. I also use the P mode and centre meter and 100 ISO - only from following advice here, lol,

I know, I hate the manual also, can never find what I'm looking for! Anyway, go to the Pict Adj mode in your menu. Here you can adjust the image quality. I like to bump up the contract, sharpness and saturation and bump down the noise reduction. I switch back and forth on the point to center meter, depending on the subject - you have to look at your result and adjust. Also, make sure you select the correct white balance, AWB doesn't always pick the right setting for you.

thanks, now must write that down, lol. you are much better than i at this, my memory is poor now so i find it hard to redcall things.

Wow fantastico,There all great but 2 is really stunningly beautiful, Love it.
Glad you posted a link in the close up section as I would never have seen them else. Really super.
