Default Panasonic Warranty

I went shopping today for cameras and spoke to a customer service person about why BestBuys doesn't carry Panasonic D-SLRs on the floor. She responded that the warranty isn't very good and it's a hassle for them to return anything. Has anybody had any problems with their camera regarding this? Where did you purchase your Pani cameras?

To my knowledge, Panasonic no longer manufactures, markets or sells DSLRs. Their strategy for the higher end of the digital camera market has been to rather focus on the Micro Four Thirds range of cameras instead where it holds a leadership position along with Olympus.
That BestBuy sales person clearly did not have a clue

I receive Consumer Reports magazine and it says that Panasonic cameras have the least repair history. It also gave that brand great ratings.
