A few shots of my newest 1:18 diecast, this time a Harley-Davidson Night Rod Special by Maisto.

Taken with my FZ40, 6s exposure, ISO100, tripod, f/8

A few new photos, all taken with the FZ40!

I am still learning the various settings of this camera and with warmer weather coming I can get out and use it more often.

I love the FJ Cruiser shots! I think that is one of the coolest looking SUVs, ever.

The Veyron shots look great, too. I especially like the interior shots.

I generally stick with A mode so I can control the aperture which I set to f/8 so I can get the entire car in focus. I step back about 3-4 feet and zoom in to blur the background a bit. Most shots are handheld and I use IS mode 2 so the camera is only focusing when I press the shutter button(this saves battery life). The FZ40 takes very good photos to begin with and it has a wonderful bokeh unlike other cameras on the market. My post processing is minimal unless I'm trying to get a certain look as in the FJ Cruiser photos where I wanted a rustic feel to them.

I just received this car last Thursday and until the weather clears up I had to make do with shooting indoors. The car is a Lexus LFA and while the model is expensive at $150 it's nothing compared to the real deal which costs $375,000. Lexus is only building 500 of these incredible cars and as it should be with such a fine automobile the engine is the star here. It is worth your time to go to YouTube and do a search for "Lexus LFA revving" because you will never forget the sound it makes!
