Sweet spot is an expression. It refers to the aperture value(s) of a particular lens that will produce the sharpest image. P&S lenses usually have their sweet spot between f4 and f5.6 while DSLR lenses have their sweet spot between f8 and f11.

You guys should come to Montreal, Canada some day during a heavy winter lol... 2 or 3 years ago, I couldn't find my car because all the cars were BURIED in snow, LITTERALLY! Finally found it when this fat dude fell from the sidewalk (yes there was even more snow on the sidewalk the on the cars lol) onto a car, the car alarm went and I recognized my alarm lol I know have a small dent on top of my car right where the driver's door is.

Anyways, nice shots, and clever way to attract birds I can't wait to start shooting my FZ35 tomorrow

We have had the lowest temperatures in years here lately and the snow keeps falling. The bird idea is a good one and i am waiting to get out of the house to buy more peanuts for the birds, ran out recently and hate the birds to go without as they need out help in this weather.
