Default Street Light

Took this through the kitchen window using night scene. First time i have used it. Focused on lamp then moved it to the right a bit. not bad blurry snow or is it? Untouched except for size. Oh, it's a palm tree in front of the street lamp btw. Would you alter this photo in an editing suit? I tried it, second photo, and it is much darker but the light shows up better. i think i prefer the second one.

It's a very chilly 55 deg F (13 deg C) right now in sunny Southern California.... But it's super windy, so no good for photography.

Anyway, given your condition, late at night in bad weather through a window, I think this is as good as you can expect. Good shot - it gets the message across.

No, we don't get any snow here. This is about as cold as it gets in the day time. At night, it occasionally gets close to freezing temperature, but that's very rare. There is snow in the mountains close by, perhaps a 30-minute drive away.

is there enough there to make a snowman? Mountains would make a lovely photo.

Yes, there's plenty of snow for that, but we don't get up there too often. Driving can be treacherous because people around here don't know how to drive in the snow.....
