Great shots saly, I especially like the colours and lighting in number 2 and I like number 5 as well.

I don't know what this plant is!! This is what they look like when open. The flowers are about 1.5" (4cm) across. Can somebody identify this plant?

p.s. Note the difference in color between AWB (original post) and shadow WB (these below)?

I know them as "love-in-the-mist" see wikipaedia at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nigella_damascena

Lovely delicate little flowers that self-seed abundantly.
