As I suggested, your aperture is wide open. As a result, the DoF is very shallow, which means anything a bit in front or behind the focus point will be out of focus (even if just slightly, which is the case here). To avoid that effect, increase the f number to f5.6 or greater (small aperture). That will give you a deeper DoF. The negative aspect of it is that you'll need more light (or higher ISO) to keep the shutter speed at levels that will prevent blurriness caused by camera shake.
