Default Free Noise Redution softwear anyone?

Does anyone here use free softwear for noise reduction on their photos? I have heard of them and am about to start to scan in all my old photos and slides and this sounds good for that. Would appreciate any feedback on this one. Any free softwear to enhanse photos would be good to know about. Thanks.

I'm not sure if it is still available free, but I have used a programme called Neat Image which was very good. IrfanView was another. You can check.

I am using DenoiseMyImage - it is freeware and does a great job. It is an excellent programme I highly recommend.

Thanks again

It is even great for the FZ35 shots - before you print them in a large format.
