Great shots!
Did you use camera's inbuilt HRD feature or did you took snaps on varying exposures and combined them using HDR? or something else?

No, in built HDR it's a joke IMHO. Each HDR was made from 7, 13 and 17 exposures each one merged in Photomatix and PP in CS5
