Default Chandelier makers

Wasps busy building a hive. The wax shines in the flash light, making the hive look like a chandelier.

Great shooting of an industrious group of workers. I have some but they are MEAN and do not like their picture taken LOL Frank

Thanks for looking and for the comments. The completed hive doesn't look as good as this!
Sarah, just to set the record straight, my camera is FZ28, not 35.

Did I say chandlier? I was right, they ARE building a chandlier. See this photo, they are even fixing bulbs! (The tiny eggs look like bulbs, don't they?)


And, they attach a delicate lid to the lampshade too!


At any time, I found at least two wasps actively engaged in building:
