Default lack of sharpness

Hi; I've been playing with my FZ35 but can't seem to get a sharp image. These shots were taken on a tripod.

Does anyone have suggestions?

I included two attachments.

thanks

flexible.

Make sure you have your camera set to AF...only AF not AF Macro or MF (Manual Focus) as the buttons can get inadvertently pushed at times...

2
Insure the distance to your subject is sufficient...in AF Mode the camera can only focus so many feet from the subject...if you get very close and try to focus you will require to switch to AF Macro Mode so the camera can "see" close up...

3
Insure you just leave the Anti-Jitter in Mode 2...doesn't affect anything I shoot off Tripod in Mode 2 all the time....

4
Insure you have the FZ35 set for Qaf as this will allow it to prefocus quickly...depress shutter half/way down and insure you get a "green box" for a confirmation that the camera is focused...fully depress shutter without shaking the camera...

or use the 2-10 second shot delay and allow the camera to shoot on it's own...if you think theres a problem with the AF (Auto Focu) use 10 second delay that takes 3 shots as the camera will refocus for each shot and this will tell you if the camera does indeed have a problem

Also before I sent it back to the retailer I would do a complete "Reset" of the camera first...I was having a problem with one of my FZ50's and a Full Reset repaired it...

LTZ-

The system reset is a really good idea. That will bring his FZ35 back to the factory defaults.

Sorry; the upload keeps failing. Maybe the file is too big. Let me try to simplify.

thanks for getting back to me.

Flexible-

Also your photo has to be resize to approximately 900 X 1200 to properly upload.
