Default LCD window protector

Anyone use one of these on your camera? If so, where did you get it, and how do you like it?

Yes, these are very handy. I use a cheap plastic one, but it does the job of protecting the LCD.

Radio Shack sells them. They are called Digital Camera /Camcorder screen protectors - 160-3687. They are not inexpensive.

I got a universal screen protector pack for mine it had 5 pieces inside that u have to cut at the size that you want and it works really good, you dont have to worry about fingerprints and dust on the lcd after putting it.

That's great; that way I can get them locally! For now, I removed the one off my Dell Axim, & cut it down to size.

I use this one:

The seller sent me 2 protectors and they are hard screen protectors, not sheets of film .

It doesn't give any sizes; would these fit the FZ40, as well? I would prefer to hard protector.

You might want to check the Giottos screen protectors.

http://www.giottos.com/SP.htm

I picked up one on eBay for a Pentax K200D. They don't have a protector specifically for the Pentax but the 2.7" screen fits perfectly. Good protection and no discernible loss of brightness when it's on. If necessary they can be removed with heat from a hair dryer.

If you are able to find them in a camera store, the package has a template which allows you to check the size/fit before you purchase.

Regards
