Hi punk199,

You've got some nice sharp pictures there - looks like you'll be taking some great motorcycle shots as you get used to this camera

A few thoughts I had that might help you:

- The first image is overexposed. Don't always trust the camera's auto exposure; use the +/- button and expose down in this kind of situation (probably 2/3 or so in this situation).
- The shot with the green bike required composing in a way that excluded the bright light on the wall above it.
- Use some image editing software too. Using Picasa (which is free) it took me about 5 seconds to bring a bit more life into your shot of the black bike. I literally just hit the "I'm feeling lucky" button and then increased saturation a tiny amount - I've attached it:

I'm very impressed with your shot #2. Very well done in the low light condition.

Welcome to the Forum, Punk-

Congratulations on your ne FZ100. It looks like you are off to a very good start with your new camera. You will find this a very active board, with a lot of sharing and help.

I have attached a copy of your most recent motorcycle photo, where I adjusted the levels slightly. You can also get slightly better results using the "P" Mode, rather than the "IA" Mode.
