Default EXIF data- where is it???

O.K.- beginners question- What is EXIF data?? How can I view it on an image?? I know I can see the exposure information on the camera screen when I look at exposures, but that's all I know... once its on my computer, its lost to me....
I know it can still be viewed- Can someone fill me in?? Thanks!

EXIF DATA contains a total info about your photograph inside your photography.
this info includes elements like:
Manufacturer,Model,ISO,Shutter Speed,f-STOP Value,Whether the flash fired or not etc...
This kinda info is stored in every photo u shot .
There is provision in this so called "Digital dark rooms" to read this info(Photoshop,lightroom...)
if u just want to see this EXIF data u can just add this plugin to your mozilla browser:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3905/

Or u can download EXIF reader from here:

http://www.takenet.or.jp/~ryuuji/minisoft/exifread/english/

oh! Sorry i almost forgot to say
EXIF stands for Exchangeable Image File Format

This info is very important to make a better photo session
