Default Comparisons

Top 2 images= Lumix FZ40
Bottom 2 images= Fuji S200EXR
No processing whatsoever, straight out of both cameras.
From here, I'm going to have to make a decision about this camera... the FZ40. What do you folks think?? Keep it? Or return it?? It's better after the reset, but I'm not sure it's still where it should be.

I think the top 2 have much better sharpness and clarity. The lettering is sharper and colors brighter.
I see more detail in the top pineapple picture especially in the leaves.

The FZ shots are much sharper and detailed.....Also, your Fuji roses are not nearly as sharp. I know, we are not helping your decision making process

Well, at least I'm getting closer to what they should be!! Ya' gotta' admit, these pic's are better after I reset the camera than they were before...
With the roses, was just pointing out the lack of noise that were present earlier in the FZ40 pics.
Thanks for your inputs- greatly appreciated!!
At least I'm at a point now where I feel like I can make little changes and work on improving the image quality, exposure, etc. Before, the noise was so bad there wasn't enough to feel like it was worth working with.
