Hi David,

Where abouts are you? It all looks so dry compared to where we are!

Northwestern Oklahoma, it's is the middle of winter and we haven't had rain since about the end of November, so it looks drier than normal. Although we are supposed to get about 3 inches of snow, which I hope to get pictures of.

David, your pics remind me of my boyhood in Wichita Falls, Tex. I looked at the exif on your pics and noticed you had contrast, saturation, and sharpness all set to normal. You might try bumping these up and see if you get better results. Your pics, at least on my monitor, look flat and unsharp. Maybe the resizing did that when you posted them here. Anyway, I took the third one and added contrast, saturation, and sharpness and it improved on my monitor. This is only a suggestion, I am not saying this has fixed it lol, but more as a guide to go by. I think in-camera adjustments ( +1 for each) may do the trick. The Cicada pic turned out very good, btw.

We've had heaps of rain for months, and we're only just hitting the normal rainy season - everything's green and wet, wet, wet.
